With backgrounds that span decades leading some of the regions most influential corporations, Greg Spencer and Jerry MacCleary founded Spencer MacCleary and associates with the desire to drive change and put people to work. With experience in Management and Human Resources from a wide range of industries, the Spencer MacCleary team is well positioned to empower clients through effective talent acquisition, and deliver strategies that help support organizational growth.
Greg Spencer has led the human resources of three diverse industries: manufacturing, medical products and energy. His life’s work has been connecting talent with opportunity and empowering people to pursue their ambitions. An experienced business owner with a demonstrated history with strong business development, professional skills in business planning, analytical skills, coaching and business development. He continues to serve as CEO of Randall Industries, LLC and has served in leadership roles on some of the region’s largest non-profit and privately held organizations.
Jerry MacCleary recently retired as the Chairman and CEO of Covestro LLC. He joined Covestro (then part of Bayer) as an accountant, before moving into a technical sales role in the plastics division. He continued to assume positions of increasing responsibility within sales, marketing, general management and strategic leadership. He also completed two international assignments. As the CEO, Jerry led the cultural transformation of Covestro to create a diverse workforce at all levels. A leader in the chemical industry, MacCleary served as chairman of the American Chemistry Council’s Executive Committee. He also served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Manufacturers and currently a Strategic Advisor at Knowde.
